In Search of Driftwood

In preparation for a fun craft we had planned with some friends, we went on a search for some drift wood.  We knew just the place to look.  A short little walk through the coastal shrubs leads us to a rather secluded beach in Montana De Oro a little bit south of the Sandspit.  There's usually no one else out there, and we find the coolest stuff!  Tide pools full of life, seashells, seaweed, bunnies on the trail, and some morning fog, yep, we like it here.  Oh...and we did find some drift wood, can't wait to show you what we made with it!

Little baby Sage gets an “S” on her bonnet! ❤️ And if you’re looking for Valentine craft ideas for your littles, you must check out what this sweet Sage made for her daddy at @homeunderthemaples ❤️
Oh man am I itching to get back outside after this extra long cold I’ve had! I’m really missing all that fresh air and those hidden treasures. What do you miss most when your down with a cold?
Rainbow neutrals.
I’ve been sick all week. Curled up right here on the couch. Thankful that after 16 years of motherhood, I finally get time to rest while being sick. It’s a luxury that I’m not taking for granted. All those mixed emotions come rising to the surface of watching your babies turn into teens, and we all know what happens next... 🕊
It’s freezing outside, but I got some sunshine on the inside! Except even these sunny Chamomiles didn’t prevent my kombucha from growing a layer of mold, ewwwww. They say mold grows with too much acidity or too cold of temps. I’m guessing its the cold temps. 🌼
Cozy boy outfit on point! Loving this look put together by mama @kindred_indigo! 🌱Romper by @bearandthewoodsco, 🌱necklace by @bluemoonholistics, 🌱 bonnet by me!
Yesterday’s quick nature walk in between rain showers. I slid into a tide pool and got my feet all wet, @markbro41 and Ginger had an ice plant fight, and we spotted some beautiful fresh mushrooms. An all around good time!
This little guy showing off his dance moves! Even babies know how to get the party started. I don’t know why I’m surprised every time I get a spontaneous dance time how my mood instantly elevates. Why do I not have a dance party everyday I don’t know! Thanks for this adorable photo @locallie_mine !
