My most recent nursery purchases: foxglove, lemon balm, and yarrow. What about you? What have you been adding to your garden lately? (Photo by my tag along nursery pal @ruby_waech )
Sweet little garden flower! Denim sun hats are all gone, but there's still a few striped bonnets available! That big ruffle brim doing its job!
Thanks to all of you who have snatched up a lot of my remaining sun hats and bonnets! There's still more for the picking, and I'm really looking forward to adding more patterns to the shop for YOU to knit!

The last couple of weeks have given me time to mentally prepare for my transition from being full time business owner to working outside the home. It's so much more than a career change, it's a new season of motherhood, which, I'm not gonna lie, has me so excited, so scared, and so sad all at the same time. Thankfully the excited part far outweighs the other two, knowing that God holds the plan. And through it all, there will still be plenty of family beach days and ukulele strumming (mostly happening at @em_waechtler)
We have a winner! @tatorsmama33 you just won yourself two skeins of beautiful yarn from @magnolia.and.oak and the Garden Lattice Baby Bonnet pattern from me! Thanks to everyone for joining in on the fun!!! Mandy DM me your email and address to get your prize! Congratulations!!!

I have some exciting news to share! For the first time in 16 years I will be working outside the home. My whole family is thrilled for this new adventure and what it means for each of us individually as well as a unit.
.
What a blessing it has been to be able to help supplement our income while choosing to homeschool, as well as get my creative needs met through Blue Corduroy. I'm so thankful for God's provision and for all of your support and encouragement along the way!
.
What does this new season mean for Blue Corduroy? I will still be creating, because that's who I am. I plan to continue to make patterns for you to knit and crochet your own bonnets and things.
.
As for my other products; bonnets, sun hats, beanies, and bags...I plan on selling through my current inventory and not restocking. Although I'm pretty sure I'll be making limited editions of things because I can't help myself.
.
Thank you so much for being a part of this journey of mine as a mother and as a creative. This community is so encouraging and inspiring and so fun to be a small part of. Xoxo
Alysia of @magnolia.and.oak has generously offered to GIVEAWAY her favorite color combo for this new bonnet pattern of mine.
.
Two of her hand-dyed Alpaca skeins, one from local eucalyptus and the other from eco-friendly dyes. These yarns look so pretty in this pattern!!!
.
Tag a knitting buddy below to enter to win these two skeins from @magnolia.and.oak and the new pattern for the Garden Lattice Bonnet from myself! I'll pick a winner at random Friday evening 4/6/18.
The Garden Lattice Bonnet (aka Criss-Cross Applesauce 😉 @houseintheorchard) is now ready for your knitting needles! What colors would you make one in? (Photo by @ruby_waech baby by @natalierans )
I've got a new pattern in the shop for all you knitters who are just as addicted to knitting baby bonnets as I am! p.s. It's a great excuse to work with @magnolia.and.oak hand-dyed Alpaca!
